Work Description: Repaired an AC unit that was running but not cooling, and capped off a few gas lines that I needed to cap (I asked him for a referral, and he offered to do them at the same time.)

Comments: I called to schedule to have them come out and look at my AC that was running, but not cooling. The owner was in the area, so he was able to stop by a few hours later. Turns out that my 17 year old AC unit had rusted a good bit, and one of the wires burned/melted. He spent time to carefully clean contacts, replacing them when necessary, and thoroughly test the system inside and out. After quite a while (and practically re-wiring the outside unit) he determined that the compressor motor was likely frozen. He priced out a few different units, and only charged 65$ due to the problem not being resolved (he spent well over 90min). He even offered to cap a few gas lines that I had asked about that were near the cooling lines. After talking to my wife I called him back and agreed to purchase an upper range unit. He called me back the following day, and asked if he could come out and check 2 things that had occurred to him. He came out, and within 15 min had the AC working. He then spent the following hour capping the gas lines anyway. When everything was done he charged me an additional 100$ for the time and parts used the day before, as well as the hardware to cap the pipes, and a small amount of the labor. That is right, he passed up a $2,600 sale to do the right thing, and did the odd extra work even though he wasn't going to be replacing cooling lines in the area. I can't say enough good things about how he is running his business!

Work Description: The fan on my central air compressor stopped spinning and the unit was making an awful buzzing sound. It was 90 or so degrees when the unit stopped working and I needed it fixed ASAP! I called Dana early in the morning and left a message. He promptly returned my call and advised that he could be at my house within a half hour. Dana arrived less than thirty minutes later and was able to quickly diagnose the problem. His extensive knowledge is evidence that he's been doing this for quite some time. I asked him about it and he's been in this business for 20 or so years. It turned out that the fan motor and capacitor were burned out and needed replaced. I had a feeling that this was the case. Dana provided me with a fair estimate and I agreed for him to perform the work. Dana made some calls and was able to get the needed parts. He was back within the hour and conducted the repair work. He provided me with warranty information and gave me some decent tips on how to make my furnace/ac running more efficiently. He also gave me some background information on the government's tax credit program. Dana is honest, professional, and friendly. I will be calling him for my future HVAC needs. Comments: When I received the estimates (two for two brands of furnance) they broke down exactly what was going to be done so I could understand it. Dana answered any questions that I had, and helped with financing. He was very prompt and courteous. When he was done for the day he explained what was done and what still needed to be done and cleaned up.

Work Description: I came home from work pretty late at night and my pilot light would not stay lit and it was FREEZING in my house.

Comments: I did not expect anyone to come out so late to help me out and they showed up to save the day! I'm always weary of inviting strangers into my home but they were very polite, straightforward, and trustworthy. Comments: My newly installed programmable thermostat dropped to 32 degrees on Friday night and stayed there all weekend in frigid February. I called Dana first thing Monday morning and he was at my house within an hour and installed new wiring (the old wiring casing was crumbling in the wall) and had the thermostat back in service in no time. He was extremely professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I wouldn't consider calling anyone else.

Comments: My furnace blower stopped working in a cold winter day at Cleveland. Mr. Dana came in at late night 10:00pm and returned the very early next morning to fix it right away. Comments: Cleveland Comfort Solutions was extremely prompt, getting a technician to my home within an hour (on a Friday) from when we spoke on the phone about my furnace not working. The technician was very respectful of my home (even taking off his shoes) and was quick and efficient in finding the problem. He was knowledgeble about the unit and the parts required to fix it. Additionally, he was cheerfully willing to take the time to answer all my questions, even though some were about functions of other parts of the unit and about maintenance and care. I can't speak to the price of services, since it was efficiently handled between the company and my home warranty, and the company accepted my service fee check without any issues. Comments: I came home this week from work and noticed that my house was a bit cold. I realized that something was wrong when I only heard a hum when the furnace was supposed to turn on. I called this company based on a friend's referral and they came over immediately. The service tech was friendly, asked a few questions, and already had an idea of what the problem was. He was explaining the different parts of my furnace and explaining their function as he diagnosed the problem. It turns out he was right and he pulled a large dead bird out of the inducer motor! He did the job and pulled it out like a real pro. A little over an hour after I called, we fired it up and it was all solved. HIGHLY recommended!
